Hopkinsville Police released additional information concerning this morning’s wreck that injured two people and closed off traffic for more than an hour.

Police say 31-year old John Trolinger of the city and his passenger, Tyler Trolinger were both transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle wreck on Main Street.

Preliminary investigations into the wreck indicates that Trolinger was driving south on Main Street in the left lane when he blacked out and collided into the unoccupied and parked vehicle of Hunter Davis of Hopkinsville.

Police say the investigation into the wreck remains ongoing.
