A young woman was arrested yesterday afternoon on sexual abuse charges after she allegedly grabbed the private parts of two young boys.
Hopkinsville Police were called to 709 Hipkins St. around noon to the report of a female locked inside a vehicle with several other females outside trying to attack her.
The woman was already gone when they got there, but they later found 19-year old Sherri Pillow of Hopkinsville at 148 North McPherson Avenue. She said the women trying to attack her were at another North McPherson address and police found them there.
That resident’s six-year old son reportedly told Officer Matt Overby that Pillow had been walking down the street and called him to the sidewalk. That’s when Pillow allegedly grabbed his groin area, causing him to run to his mother.
While that victim was away, Pillow allegedly called for a 10-year old boy who was on the porch to come to the sidewalk and grabbed his private parts.
Police talked to a witness who verified the juveniles’ account of the incident. Pillow was arrested and charged with first degree sexual abuse and was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
