A Gracey man was arrested Saturday afternoon for allegedly shoving a pregnant nurse out of his wife’s hospital room.
Arrested on wanton endangerment charges around 2:15 Saturday was 52-year old Jackson McBride of Gracey. The Hopkinsville Police report says McBride became angry at his wife’s nurse—Meghan Nasset of Hopkinsville—and allegedly became very loud and aggressive.
McBride is accused of shoving Nasset, who is 36 weeks pregnant, multiple times until she stumbled out the door, nearly falling on her stomach. A witness told police she heard yelling and then saw the nurse have to catch herself to keep from falling.
McBride was charged with wanton endangerment because he allegedly put the life of the unborn baby in danger.
The expecting mother was going to seek medical care after the incident, while McBride was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
