Law enforcement officials in Christian County continue to investigate the fatal shooting of a Fort Campbell soldier that took place last month.
Officials are reportedly still waiting for lab results for multiple pieces of items that were collected at the murder scene and other locations.
During a recent preliminary hearing, a Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy involved in the case testified in court that blood splatter was found inside the vehicle driven by 25-year old Jessie Goslyn, the wife of 28-year old Vincent Goslyn who was reportedly gunned down on Fidelio Road on the night of February 3rd by Jessie Goslyn’s alleged accomplice, 24-year old Jarred Tabor Long of Colorado.
In chilling detail, the sheriff’s deputy also testified that Jessie Goslyn and Jarred Long were in a romantic relationship and met at a Clarksville hotel to create a plot to harm Goslyn’s husband, who was already seeking treatment for injuries he sustained while he was deployed in combat.
Meanwhile, during the same preliminary hearing, another deputy stated on the night of murder Jessie Goslyn remained emotionless.
Jessie Goslyn and Jarred Long are both charged with murder and remain lodged in the Christian County Jail.
