A pedestrian was killed in a wreck on I-65 late last night in Robertson County. The incident happened just after 9pm, according to the report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, which says 31-year old Mary Hartley of White House, Tennessee was northbound on the off-ramp at exit 108 when 56-year old James Jernigan, Jr of Orlinda, Tennessee walked into his path. Hartley was unable to avoid a collision and Jernigan was pronounced dead on the scene, according to police. Hartley and her two passengers went uninjured in the incident. ** |
