| Local realtor files for city council |
 A Republican has filed to run for the Ward 6 Hopkinsville City Council seat currently held by Democrat Ann Cherry. Filing his papers today was Roger Richey, who is a realtor with Coldwell Banker in Hopkinsville. Councilwoman Cherry has already filed her papers to seek a third term. She defeated incumbent Larry Gillette in 2008 and won a three-way primary against Gillette and Doug Colburn in 2010 for re-election. |
