Christian Co. woman injured in wreck

A single vehicle wreck on Gospel of Peace Road last night injured a Christian County woman.

The incident happened around 8pm near the intersection with Butler Road, according to the report from the Sheriff’s Office, which says 51-year old Darlene Kozac of Candy Drive was westbound when a truck swerved into her lane.

Ms. Kozac swerved to miss the oncoming truck and ran off the roadway and into a pole. Her vehicle continued on until striking an embankment.

She was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries to the head and face.
