Do you like watching crime fighting shows and always wanted to know more about the law enforcement field? If so, here’s your chance to do so.

Kentucky State Police in Post One is accepting applications for the 2012 KSP Citizens Police Academy.

The 10-week academy is scheduled to take place February 15th and students will meet every Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. and will conclude on April 18^th

According to officials, students will learn about patroling, criminal investigations, and drug investigations and will have the opportunity to take part in a simulated law enforcement training.
