|Todd County Constable resigns to become town fire chief|
A Todd County constable has resigned from his position to serve his community in another capacity.
Todd Judge Executive Darryl Greenfield says 3rd District Constable Jonathan Stahl resigned this week and will be sworn in as the next chief of the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department.
Judge Greenfield said Stahl described Stahl as a “good man” who did a good job as constable and will continue to do well in his new capacity.
It wasn’t immediately known if that open seat will be on this year’s ballot or if a replacement will be chosen in some other way.
