Woman injured in W. 17th St. wreck

A wreck on W. 17th St. early yesterday afternoon sent a Clarksville woman to an area hospital.

The report from Hopkinsville Police says 30-year old Brandy Golder of Clarksville said she had just turned from South Main St. onto W. 17th when she attempted to settle a drink that was about to spill.

That’s when her vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Ms. Golder was treated by EMS on the scene, and would be taken by private vehicle to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital on Fort Campbell.
