| Man arrested on drug, fleeing from police charges |
|
Terrance Christian A Hopkinsville man was arrested yesterday on Cypress St. after running from police. Officers were called to 636 Cypress around 2:45pm with someone asking police to remove 29-year old Terrance Christian from the residence. Upon arrival of police, Christian allegedly took off on foot and ran to the dead end of Cypress before giving himself up. A search of Christian’s person revealed a baggy of white rocks that ultimately tested negative for cocaine. Police say the rocks were packaged in a way consistent with how cocaine rocks are sold, but they would turn out to only be rocks of drywall. Christian was charged with Fleeing from Police, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Possession for Sale of a Simulated Controlled Substance. ** 01/09/2012/am |
