No suspects are listed on a report of a shooting on Mechanic St. from yesterday afternoon. The incident happened around 3:30 near the intersection of Mechanic and Howell Streets, according to the report from Hopkinsville Police, which says 51-year old Elvis Langley of Hopkinsville told officers he had been walking when he felt a pain to his right knee. A bullet had gone all the way through his knee, though he told police he never heard a gunshot and that no one was around him. Langley was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment and the investigation continues. ** |
