Downtown wreck injures woman

A vehicle versus light pole wreck downtown late this morning caused some traffic problems.

The incident happened just after 10:30 at 6th and Main, with the female driver taken to Jennie Stuart Medical center for minor injuries.

Hopkinsville Electric System was called to the scene to inspect the pole and traffic was diverted around the scene while the area was cleaned up. We’ll have more details on the incident as they become available.
