No first baby of year at JSMC, yet

The waiting game continues at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where the first baby of 2012 has yet to be born.

Hospital spokesman Jim Goss says that’s unusual, considering there is an average of two to three babies born per day at the hospital. He said there were no immediate prospects for the first baby of the year as of about 1pm Monday.
