The Hopkinsville Police Department responded to a wreck with injuries on new year’s day in the area of East Parkview Drive.
According to police, 22-year old Arsenio Irvin of Hopkinsville told police while he was at the intersection of East Parkview Drive and Calvin Drive, his brakes locked up and collided with the vehicle of 31-year old Patricia Coleman of Hopkinsville.
Coleman told police the front end of Irvin’s vehicle hit the left side of her vehicle causing her vehicle to spin, leave the roadway and hit a street sign and fence.
Police say one of Irvin’s two passengers, 21-year old Antown Crayton of Hopkinsville received a cut to his hand, but refused to be transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, Coleman complained of neck pain but, also refused to be transported to the hospital and officers on the scene report all individuals involved in the wreck refused to be transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, and elected to go to the hospital in their personal vehicles.
