Jewelry allegedly stolen at Christian Co. School

A Christian County school official claims someone stole precious jewelry worth over $1,800 over the holiday weekend.

20-year old Shayna Myers-Young of Crofton reported to Hopkinsville police yesterday that on Thursday, December 15th, that while she was at work, she removed several rings from her fingers and temporarily set them down and stepped away, and when she returned shortly afterwards, the rings were missing.

The listed property that was stolen included a diamond engagement ring and a diamond promise ring.

According to police, the case remains open and a suspect description was not provided in the report.
