| Sears Holdings releases first list of Sears, K-Mart closures |

Sears Holdings Company has named 79 of the 100 to 120 K-Mart and Sears stores it will be closing and none in Hopkinsville or Clarksville are on the list. A second, smaller list is still yet to be released, but there are currently no plans to close any Sears or K-Mart in western Kentucky or Middle Tennessee. Sears announced there would be closures last week after a less than Christmas shopping season at their stores. |
