|Hopkinsville man arrested after party with drugs, alcohol, juveniles|
A Hopkinsville man was arrested early this morning for allegedly throwing a party and allowing several juveniles to drink and do drugs.
Charged with multiple counts of Unlawful Transaction With a Minor is 18-year old Rickie Bailey of Hopkinsville. Bailey’s arrest card says police responded to 147 N. McPherson around 1am and smelled an odor of marijuana at the front door.
Police say between 10 and 15 juveniles fled out a side door upon their arrival and that eight juveniles were found inside the residence so intoxicated they required assistance to walk.
Officers also allegedly found a loaded handgun under some pillows in the corner of a room. The juveniles were also allegedly shooting dice in the living room floor. Bailey was reportedly the only renter of the home and was charged with possession of a handgun by a minor in addition to his other charges and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
