A Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy was arrested and booked into the Christian County Jail this morning.
45-year old Kent Roberts was arrested without incident by Kentucky State Police at his residence around 10:30 and is charged with 4th degree assault and 1st degree official misconduct.
Roberts was arrested after State Police investigated an assault complaint that allegedly involved Sidney A. Faulkner and Roberts.
State Police say Faulkner has not been located, but does have a warrant for his arrest for assault.
According to a media release provided by KSP, Roberts and Faulkner are accused of committing an assault which occurred on November 26th when Roberts, was off duty at the time and was driving his cruiser in the company of Faulkner.
Deputy Roberts was booked into the Christian County Jail on a 2-thousand dollar bond and bonded out of jail today and is suspended without pay from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
