Clarksville woman arrested on child abuse charges
A Clarksville woman was arrested on Child Abuse charges Friday for allegedly leaving her three small children unattended in an unlocked vehicle while she shopped.
Clarksville Police were called to the Fort Campbell Boulevard Wal-Mart around 4:30 Friday afternoon and found a 2, 5 and 10 year old child in a vehicle with the keys in the ignition.
The mother of the children, 41-year old Michelle Barrett of Sue Drive, Clarksville returned to the vehicle 20 minutes later and was arrested on two felony charges of Child Abuse and Neglect.
