Only two of the 50 cows which escaped a fenced in area in Caldwell County and walked onto the Western Kentucky Parkway Saturday morning remain at large. The Highway Department says extra patrols have been out all weekend looking for the cattle, which made their way through a break in the fence before daylight Saturday and closed a 12 mile stretch of the four-lane highway for about four hours. At least five wrecks occurred, but no human injuries were reported. Motorists driving through Caldwell County are advised to be cautious and to call 911 if one of the two missing cows is spotted. ** 12/11/2011/am
