Christian Co. church burglarized

A Christian County Church recently became the victim of burglary.

The report from the Sheriff’s office says Pastor Jimmy Stewart of Salem Baptist Church near the St. Elmo community told Sheriff’s Deputy Lynn Moe that the youth group had met in the youth quarters recently and locked up by 8:30pm on December 1st.

Sometime after that, someone kicked in the front door and stole several electronic items totaling about 400 dollars. The perpetrator also destroyed a door worth 800 dollars.
