Fort Campbell soldier accused of theft

A Fort Campbell soldier is accused of stealing several band instruments and electronic equipment from the Army.
Sergeant Riley Ealy, is charged with receiving stolen property and a report from Kentucky State Police indicates the stolen items included seven guitars, a trombone and saxophone.
According to the Kentucky Enquirer, military investigators told state police the stolen items belonged to the 101st Airborne Division Band at Fort Campbell where the 28-year old soldier was stationed since he was acquitted in March of manslaughter in the death of 25-year old James Fry.
The soldier’s attorney, Paul Dickmann reportedly maintains his client’s innocence.
The Kentucky Enquirer reports the stolen items were found at Ealy’s father’s residence.
