Four Hopkinsville men indicted by Federal Grand Jury in Paducah

According to a release from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Charles White, Claude Snorton, Bailey Davie and Antonio Poindexter were indicted by the Federal Grand Jury in Paducah.

Officials say the four men were arrested Thursday, December 1st and were taken into custody without incident, at various locations in Hopkinsville.

White, Snorton, and Davie allegedly sold illegal controlled substances to government undercover operatives that included cocaine and cocaine base otherwise known as “crack” while, Poindexter is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The investigation remains ongoing and is being conducted by the Hopkinsville based Western Kentucky Gun Crimes Task Force, which is a cooperative effort of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, the Hopkinsville Police Department and ATF.

Police say additional indictments and arrests in this investigation are anticipated.

The cases will be prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Kentucky.
