Details remain scarce this afternoon concerning details of a vehicle versus pedestrian wreck that occurred late this morning in Hopkinsville.

As previously reported, the incident happened just before 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of 9^th and South Main Street and Hopkinsville Police Officer Paul Ray says the female pedestrian was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

According to Officer Ray, the female was transported by ambulance to the local hospital and is listed in stable condition and suffered an injury to her face.

The wreck is being investigated by Officer Josh Fields and police have not released the name of the pedestrian at this time.
