Two people were sent by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center over the weekend after they were involved in a two-vehicle wreck on North Main Street.

Hopkinsville Police say 50-year old Gerenia Stewart of Elkton and 55-year old Peggy Lane of Hopkinsville were sent to the hospital for treatment of neck and back pain.

According to police, Lane rear-ended a car driven by 55-year old Robert Kranz of Hopkinsville, who did not need medical attention following the wreck and told police Lane’s vehicle appeared from a blind spot and cut across his lane.

Police say as a result of the wreck, Lane’s vehicle also hit a parked vehicle.
