One killed in Lyon Co. wreck

It’s not clear if it was weather related, but a single vehicle wreck in Lyon County this morning claimed the life of the driver.

State Police say the incident happened just before 10am near the 1000 block of Kentucky Highway 730, where a compact passenger car left the roadway for an unknown reason, rotated clockwise and struck a tree.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead on the scene. The name of the victim is being withheld, pending family notification.
