Two men found dead in Pleasant View, Tn. home

Two men were reportedly found dead in a Pleasant View, Tennessee home this morning.

The men, who’s identity has not yet been released, were found at 2416 Lee Drive near Longstreet Avenue, according to a story on the Ashland City Times website.

When police arrived shortly after 10:30, Cheatham County Police Chief Shannon Heflin said they found one man on a sofa and another on a bed.

Police believe the two men, who both live in the home, died of some type of drug overdose. They were discovered by family members, who were home at the time of their deaths.

Pending the identification and legal status of the substance found in the men, action could be taken to pursue the supplier of the substance, Chief Heflin told the paper.

Pleasant View is just off Interstate 24 at exit 24 about 13 miles south of Clarksville.
