Kentucky Utilities offering gift certificate program

If you know of a Kentucky Utilities Customer in Crofton, Hopkins County or elsewhere who needs a hand up this Christmas, that electric company is offering gift certificates for purchase.

Spokesperson Liz Pratt says the Home Utility Gift Certificates, or “HUGS” as they call it, credit the account of the person you purchase them for.

Ms. Pratt says the certificates are great for families in need this winter, when so many are feeling the effects of an ongoing economic recession.

The certificates start at 25 dollars and can be purchased for any amount after that. You can download a form to purchase a certificate on the Kentucky Utilities website.
