TWO PEOPLE DIED ON KENTUCKY ROADWAYS DURING THANKSGIVING WEEKEND

Preliminary statistics released by Kentucky State Police indicate that two people died in two separate wrecks on Kentucky roadways during the Thanksgiving holiday enforcement period.

According to State Police, last year there were nine highway fatalities during the same time period.

Both fatalities reportedly involved motor vehicles and neither victim was wearing a seat belt.

State Police say through November 27th, preliminary statistics indicate that 654 people have died on Kentucky roadways this year, which is fifty-two less fatalities during the same time period last year.
