Kentucky drivers are getting a slight break at the pump just ahead of the holiday weekend.
Triple-A shows the price for a gallon of regular unleaded is down nearly 12-cents from a month ago. The $3.24 price is still up nearly 50-cents from a year ago.
The average price in Hopkinsville is also around $3.24, ranging from a low of $3.17 and a high of $3.32. A gallon of unleaded is a little cheaper in Oak Grove, where the average is about $3.23 and the prices range from $3.15 to $3.29.
The price in Clarksville is even less expensive, coming in at an average of around $3.20, according to MSN.com. The average price for a gallon in Tennessee is $3.14.
