High School Sports: Heritage Bank had a news conference this morning to announce the 7th class to enter the Christian County Athletics Hall of Fame.
This year’s inductees are: Richard Keller who played basketball from 1959-61, Jerry Rogers who played baseball from 1986-89, Jason Owens who played basketball from 1996-99, Britt Latham who played tennis from 1980-86 and the 1984 Class 4-A state championship football team.
Also to be honored were two members of the first Hall of Fame class, coaches Jim Perrin and John Rendek who passed away this year.

Golf: Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee apologized to Tiger Woods Tuesday for a Golf.com he wrote last week insinuating Woods was a cheater for his various rules transgressions this past season. Chamblee apologized to Woods via Twitter in which he stated his intentions were to indicate Woods rules infractions this year, but said comparing it to cheating in grade school went a bit far.
