Hoppers Baseball: The Hoptown Hoppers take a 3 ½ game lead over Fulton into Ohio Valley League action tonight at Dubois County. The Bombers currently are in fourth place, 5 ½ games back and bring a three game winning streak into the game at League Field.
Other OVL action this evening has Madisonville hosting Marion and Owensboro goes to Fulton.

Minor League Baseball: The Bowling Green Hot Rods conclude a series at Quad Cities this evening, while the Nashville Sounds host Memphis in the second game of a weekend series at Greer Stadium.
College Football: Two players from Kentucky schools have been added to the Bronko Nagurski Award watch list. Western Kentucky junior linebacker Andrew Jackson and Louisville senior safety Hakeem Smith have been added to the list. The Nagurski award is presented by the Charlotte Touchdown Club annually to the nation’s top defensive player.
College Basketball: ESPN reports police found drugs in the vehicle of Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson during a traffic stop. Oxford, MS police chief Joey East confirmed when officers pulled Henderson over on May 4th, they smelled marijuana in the vehicle. Investigators say officers confiscated a baggie of marijuana and a K-9 dog found a small amount of cocaine.
Henderson was suspended from the team on Wednesday by Coach Andy Kennedy, but sources say he can return if he meets certain conditions. Henderson led Ole Miss to the SEC tournament championship last season and an NCAA tournament appearance.
Golf: Franklin’s Kenny Perry tees off at 2:09 this afternoon in his second round at the US Senior Open at Omaha Country Club. Perry and six others shot opening round 67’s Thursday to share the first round lead. Perry has collected one major win on the Champions Tour this season and finished runner up in another major.
