College Basketball: WPSD reported Monday Mid Continent University men’s basketball coach Winston Bennett is stepping down. Bennett spent six seasons at MCU and compiled a 91-103 record. Bennett’s resignation is effective June 30th.
Bennett says he does not rule out a return to coaching in the future, but wants to spend time pursuing his passion as an author and Christian motivational speaker.
