Rawlings/KHSAA State Softball: 2nd region representative Livingston Central is playing an elimination game late this morning against Magoffin County.
Winners bracket action saw Greenwood improve to 41-0 with a 13-0 5 inning win over Notre Dame, while Owensboro Catholic defeated Ashland 5-1. 1st region winner Lone Oak defeated Scott County 5-1.

NFL: Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Farve says his parting with Green Bay was messy when he left following the 2007 season. Speaking with a Buffalo radio station, Farve took responsibility for how his departure took place and said his relationship with former backup signal caller and current Packers starter Aaron Rodgers has been mended.
