College Baseball: Austin Peay committed a season high five errors in a 14-8 loss at Southeast Missouri. The Governors return to action Tuesday at Evansville.
Murray State lost in its series finale to Jacksonville State 10-7. The Breds are on the road Tuesday night at Memphis.
Western Kentucky got a walk off homerun in the 10th inning to defeat Troy 7-6. Former Hopkinsville High pitcher Justin Hageman picked up his first win of the season, going one inning in relief, walking one and getting one strikeout. WKU plays at Lipscomb Tuesday night.
College Softball: Despite hitting three home runs, Austin Peay lost its series finale with SIU Edwardsville Sunday 8-5. Murray State defeated UT Martin by the score of 3-2 to win its first ever series at Martin.
Minor League Baseball: The Bowling Green Hot Rods lost the series finale to the West Michigan Whitecaps 10-7 at Bowling Green Ballpark. The Hot Rods are off today before opening a series at Great Lakes Tuesday night.
The Nashville Sounds lost at the Omaha Stormchasers 11-2. The two teams close out their series this morning in Omaha.
NHL: The Nashville Predators were shutout by Detroit Sunday night 3-0. The Predators, who have now lost six games in a row, close out a four game home stand against Vancouver at 7 this evening in Bridgestone Arena.
