ESPN reports California coach Mike Montgomery was reprimanded by the Pac-12 on Monday for shoving one of his own players in the chest during a game. The conference did not announce what specific punishment Montgomery received for his actions Sunday night, although he will not be suspended.
The confrontation happened during a timeout early in the second half of Cal's 76-68 win over Southern California on Sunday night when Montgomery yelled at star guard Allen Crabbe for nonchalant play and then shoved him in the chest with both hands.

MLB: Cincinnati Reds manager Dusty Baker says he is feeling good as 2013 spring training is underway in Arizona. The Reds skipper was in a hospital when the team clinched the 2012 National League Central division title, receiving treatment for an irregular heartbeat and mini stroke. He returned to the dugout for the NL playoffs, where the Reds lost to the San Francisco Giants. Baker received a two year contract extension after last season.
Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Garza will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of an injury sustained while pitching batting practice. Garza—who made just 18 starts last season due to an elbow injury—felt a twinge in his side when throwing on Sunday. Garza last pitched on July 21st of last year, when he left a game in St. Louis due to a “stress reaction” in his elbow.
