High School Baseball: Christian County defeated Reidland 6-1 and lost to St. Mary 7-6 at the McCracken County Tournament, where Hopkinsville lost to Sikeston, MO 10-9. University Heights lost to Paducah Tilghman 4-3 in 8 innings, Stewart County, TN defeated Fort Campbell 19-11.

High School Softball: Christian County shutout Union County 5-0, Bowling Green over University Heights 16-1 at the Spartan Invitational in Bowling Green and Dawson Springs blanked Hopkinsville 4-0.
Today's games: UHA continues play in the Spartan Invitational against Station Camp. TN and then will play either Todd Central or Edmonson County.
High School Tennis: University Heights defeated Madisonville in boys and girls matches Friday. The boys match went to UHA 8-1, with the Lady Blazers winning 9-0.
High School Basketball: Hopkinsville High's Christy Soldo has been invited to try out for the Kentucky All Star team according to a story in today's Kentucky New Era. Soldo averaged almost 19 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in leading the Lady Tigers to their first Region 2 title and appearance in the Girls Sweet 16.
College Basketball: It's the day Kentucky and Louisville fans have been waiting for as the Cats and the Cards meet in the first semifinal at the NCAA Final Four in New Orleans. Tip off for the game at 5:09, with Kansas and Ohio State meeting in the second semifinal game. Kentucky's Anthony Davis added another award Friday to the many he has received this post season. Davis was named the Associated Press Player of the Year. Davis is the second freshman to win the award. Missouri's Frank Haith was named the AP Coach of the Year.
