A 2012 Final Four ring belonging to Louisville’s Chane Behanan showed up this week on the website Grey Flannel Auctions. The page concerning bidding on the ring has since been removed from the website after Behanan’s mother claimed her son’s ring had been stolen. There’s been no official confirmation on the mother’s story.
The Courier Journal reports when they contacted Grey Flannel Auctions, a representative swiftly declined comment on the matter. Behanan said on Facebook last night he did not sell the ring and a U of L spokesman said today he is looking into the matter.
MLB: The Atlanta Braves are one step closer to moving into their new stadium in suburban Atlanta. The Cobb County commission approved 4-1 last night to allow for construction of a new $672 million stadium. It’s hopeful the new stadium will be open by the 2017 season. The Braves have called Turner Field home since 1997 and before that played just across the parking lot at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.
