Tennessee Titans owner K.S. "Bud" Adams has died at the age of 90. A statement from the Titans confirmed Adams died of natural causes at his Houston home this morning. Funeral arrangements will be announced in the coming days.
Adams burst on the sports scene in 1960 in Houston as one of the original founders of the American Football League and brought the then Oilers to that city, where they would stay until moving to Nashville in the late 1990's and becoming the Tennessee Titans.
Adams' death comes some 72 hours after the death of a man with whom he will be linked with forever in Houston sports annals. Former Oilers coach Bum Phillips died on Friday.
