The Jets will again have rookie Geno Smith out of West Virginia as the starting quarterback for tonight's game, as deposed starter Mark Sanchez continues to recover from a shoulder injury that could end his season. Various reports indicate that Sanchez has a torn labrum that could lead to season-ending surgery, although the fifth-year veteran plans to rehab the injury first.

St. Louis leads Pittsburgh by a game, while the Reds are 3 games back. Elsewhere, Atlanta has a matinee game with the Miami Marlins.
