University of Kentucky coach Mark Stoops announced after Tuesday’s practice cornerback JD Harmon--a former walk on from Paducah--is no longer on the team. The sophomore started in three games last season and finished with 24 tackles and led the team with two interceptions. A school spokesman would not comment further on why Harmon was no longer on the team.
As far as the second day of practice goes, Stoops said it was very business like and not as much excitement as Monday, but very good concentration and energy.
