A Hopkinsville woman is accused of endangering the welfare of her children.
Hopkinsville Police say on Saturday, 29-year old LaDonna Johnson left her three small children unrestrained and alone in a vehicle while she shopped at a Fort Campbell Boulevard business.
According to police, by leaving her children alone in the vehicle, whose ages ranged from 2, 3 and 7 years old, it put them at unnecessary risk of serious physical injury.
The 29-year old reportedly told police she did not own any child safety restraints for her children, but a relative arrived at the scene and brought her car seats.
Johnson is scheduled to appear in court next month for one count of endangering the welfare of a minor.
