More information is emerging in the case of a missing Elkton man who was found dead on a Muhlenberg County farm Sunday afternoon.
The body of 26-year old Justin Wheeler of Greenville Road, Elkton was found on a farm near Highway 601 about two miles outside of Greenville just before 2 p.m. Sunday, according to Muhlenberg County Sheriff Curtis McGehee.
Wheeler had been missing since his girlfriend dropped him off at a Henderson Drive location in Greenville on the evening of March 14th. Sheriff McGehee was among those who responded to the farm where Wheeler’s body was found and said the death didn’t look suspicious to him.
An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death and the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office will release those results when they become available. The Greenville Police Department, Central City Police, Powderly Police and Kentucky State Police assisted in recovering the body.
