Todd County Fiscal Court will meet in special session Tuesday morning and will likely choose an architect to design the Todd Career Path Institute project.
Pennyrile Area Development District Director of Community Development Amy Frogue says the five-member Architect Selection Committee met Monday and prepared its recommendation.
Todd Fiscal Court will make the ultimate decision, as it was the agency to obtain most of the grant money to fund the 2.5 million dollar project.
JKS Architect and Engineering has been the architect for several local major projects, including the new Christian County Middle School, Christian County Jail and Todd County Board of Education.
The Todd Career Path Institute will allow Todd Central High School students to take dual credit classes administered by Hopkinsville Community College and will also provide technical training to adults.
The selection committee consists of Todd Judge-Executive Daryl Greenfield, one magistrate, Todd County School System Superintendent Wayne Benningfield and a representative of Hopkinsville Community College.
