After 12 years of service at the Pennyrile Area Development District, Director of Community Development Amy Frogue will be receiving a promotion at the beginning of the year.
Ms. Frogue, a Todd County resident, is being promoted to PADD Assistant Director when Jason Vincent takes over as Director in January. Current Director Chris Sutton is retiring.
She says her overall goals won't change much in her new capacity—as it will continue to be about improving the nine-county region.
Ms. Frogue says she's confident PADD remains headed in the right direction and believes there will be seamless transitions in the two top jobs.
She has been instrumental in several major development projects in her current capacity—most recently helping to get a $1.5 million Economic Development Administration grant to build the Todd Career Path Institute.
