The fall festival season is here and a large crowd is expected to converge on downtown Guthrie this weekend for Heritage Days.
The festivities kick off Friday night with a re-enactment of the Great Guthrie Mail Robbery of 1938. Heritage Days Chairman Boogie Oliver encourages those attending to get there early and to bring a chair.
Oliver says it's hard to come up with an exact figure for attendance over the years, but Heritage Days is Guthrie's biggest event on the calendar.
Activities continue through the day Saturday and include a fireworks show at 10 p.m. More information, including a full schedule of events, is available on the Todd County Community Alliance website.
