Officials in Todd County are still awaiting word on whether the Todd Career Path Institute will become a reality.
If a federal grant is approved, the technology center would be built on the campus of Todd County Central High School. Hopkinsville Community College would administer the curriculum and high school students and adults would be eligible to take classes in the day or evening.
Todd County School System Superintendent Wayne Benningfield says a series of questions from the Economic Development Administration about the project have been answered and he remains optimistic.
A $500,000 Community Development Block Grant has already been approved for the project.
