The Christian County Board of Education held a special called meeting tonight and needed more information before they could begin the planning process to build a proposed new elementary school.
Board Chairman Barry Cornelius offers more details as to why the board did not take any action.
A new elementary school could combine students from schools on the list for possible closure in the future.
The board also postponed taking action to reconvene the Christian County District’s Facilities Committee to revise the 2013 District Facility plan.
In other business, the board approved the purchase of 4 school buses at a total cost of $268,842.
