Cadiz Police investigated a three-vehicle wreck with injuries Saturday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Broadbent Boulevard.
Police say the wreck occurred around 4:40 p.m. and involved 23-year old Angelina Cain of Gracey, 23-year old Bo Ray Joseph of Charlotte, North Carolina and 22-year old Tieasha Bush of Cadiz.
Police say Cain was driving westbound on U.S. 68 and attempted to turn left onto Broadbent Boulevard and Joseph was driving eastbound on U.S. 68 and collided with the passenger side of Gracey’s vehicle, which caused Joseph to also crash into Bush’s vehicle, which was stopped at the stoplight on Broadbent Boulevard.
Police say both Cain and Joseph observed green lights because there is no dedicated green turn light at the intersection.
Police say Joseph was transported to Trigg County Hospital and was treated for his injury, while Cain and Bush were treated briefly at the scene and refused transport to the hospital.
All drivers were wearing seat belts.
